Merge Massage Therapy offers mobile massage services at the home and office.  Mobile massage is becoming increasingly popular in our city as it is a very easy and convenient way to take care of ourselves in our sometimes chaotic surroundings.  Merge Massage specializes in therapeutic/deep tissue and relaxation to suit everyone's needs.



Therapeutic/Deep Tissue Massage

This is the most popular choice of massage treatment as it is very effective in decreasing pain and initiates the body's natural healing response.  Some of the many conditions treated are sprains, strains, chronic back and neck pain, headaches, whiplash, carpal tunnel, thoracic outlet syndrome, sciatic pain and TMJ dysfunction.  Though many of these conditions require deep pressure for effectiveness you should experience what is described as a "good pain" followed by a sense of relief.  The therapist will always work within your pain tolerance and to your surprise you may even "doze off" during a very deep treatment!!   



Relaxation Massage

This style of massage is great when you need some "down time" to relax and refresh your body and mind.  This massage is comprised of long, soothing, rhythmic strokes with light to moderate pressure.  Many times the therapist will find "tight areas" that you were not aware of and deeper pressure may need to be administered for a more therapeutic response.  This style of massage is great for increasing circulation and decreasing stress.
